Picked up a Bolex 155 for nothing because of minor corrosion in battery compartment. Cleaned it well. Put in new batteries, but it's not running. Anyone have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

Ok, never mind the power problem (I cleaned it a third time: now it works. Man, battery corrosion has to be entirely scraped out!) But now the zoom arm is suddenly locked. Anyone have a manual for a Bolex 155?

    Cap,
the zoom arm isn't locked permanently, it's probably because you have the focus in the macro position. I have a Bolex 155 and the manual. Send me an e-mail and I'll make a photocopy of the manual.
